Thames Valley goes to Chinatown

This is a ride into the centre of London to go to a famous restaurant in Chinatown for Dim Sum. If you like Chinese food you will love this restaurant. With Dim Sum they bring the food around on trolleys. There is FREE bike parking in an underground car park opposite the restaurant which is just off Shaftesbury Avenue.

If you have never ridden into London, don't worry it's not that difficult, especially on a Sunday. I plan a straight route into London and because we can't book a table we need to be there by noon. Therefore the plan is to ride directly to the restaurant with some pickup points along the way. Upon leaving the restaurant we will have a much more scenic ride home, including some of the sights of London if you like.

0930 Tesco Winnall Winchester Departure
1000 Basingstoke Holiday Inn Car park by the Texaco Garage
1045 Sunningdale Railway Station (approx time)
1115 Heston Services M4 (approx time)
1200 Restaurant

If you plan to join this ride please send email to lmhobbs@sky.com as to which pickup point so I know to wait.

If you have radios please bring them. I will provide maps just in case you get separated from the group. It is a very EASY route into London taking a straight road to Trafalgar Square, 2nd exit to Shaftesbury Avenue and the restaurant is on the right by the fire station.
